I can’t tell the future. I don’t really want to. But damn it, I have some serious goals that I’m putting every ounce into making them happen. First, the biggest dream – goal – aspiration is to study my Masters in Advertising at Virginia Commonwealth University’s Adcenter. If you don’t know about Adcenter, learn about Adcenter.

It’s something I’ve been working towards for four years, not only in terms or financially getting there, but by being the best at what I do academically. I nearly got there twice being short listed for a Fulbright scholarship in 2005 and 2006.

But funding for advertising education, widely regarded as a bastard art in the academe, is a long shot. So I’m in London looking for a break that I can’t find at home. And to become probably the only African to have a MSC in Advertising.

Which should concurrently lead to goals two and three – working strategy in an agency where I have the chance embark on a lifetime of learning and growing and making a mark internationally – and personally continue teaching advertising and pushing for a wider acknowledgement of advertising education internationally.
